On September 9, 2006, we will be honoring life and the sacrifices made by so many by taking part in the fourth annual Yoga for Peace event in New York City, and for the first time in San Francisco and Oakland.

We walk together as neighbors from many faiths and cultures.  We gather in peace to demonstrate our unity, recalling the spirit of togetherness that grew out of 9/11.  We commemorate this day because concern for each other's welfare is the shared hope of us all.

Walks are planned this year, not only in Washington, but also in New York.
