or purchase a copy of the short film:
Satyagraha: 100 Years of Nonviolence, featuring Arun Gandhi,
grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, to be shown before the feature.
Please Note: The download version is 130mb. Anticipate
a download time of about 1-2 hours. You'll need Windows Media
Player and a PC (it doesn't work on a Mac yet). We're working
on other formats to accomodate more people, but in the meanwhile
feel free to download this to screen at your 100 Years
of Nonviolence events if you are able.
- Purchase the Gandhi DVD right here
from our site and show the movie Gandhi, either in
its entirety, or an abbreviated viewing. Here are suggestions
for abrreviated viewings.
- Use the Discussion Guide (available soon) or Education
Guide to initiate discussion about nonviolence.
- Have each person commit to take one action as an ambassador
of nonviolence. For ideas, see upcoming events
ororganizations to join or support.
- If you are moved by this event and want to make a donation to
New Yorkers for a Department of Peace
or the M.K.
