What it's all about:
This benefit concert will bring together musicians who support the Department of Peace, politicians who have endorsed the legislation and peacebuilders whose work would be enhanced by the Department of Peace. It promises to be a fun and exciting way to find out more about the campaign and meet local activists.
This will be the kick-off event to 11 days of a Global Peace Film Fest (in the form of house-parties that anyone around the world can participate in). The house parties will take place during the 11 Days of Global Unity, between September 11 and 21 (the International Day of Peace).
If you live outside the NYC area and can't attend the NYC Benefit Concert - CHOOSE PEACE by attending or hosting a house party near you and be part of the Global Peace Film Fest.
No matter which way you CHOOSE PEACE this September, be sure to send postcards to the decision-makers in DC asking them to support a U.S. Department of Peace.
